When you cough or sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a
tissue or your sleeve. If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow
or shoulder, not into your hands.
After you cough or sneeze, wash your hands with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based
hand gel, which is available in some locations on campus.
Stay home if you have flu or flu-like symptoms for at least 24-hours after you no longer
have a fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit, or 38 degrees Celsius), or signs of a fever.
Seek medical care if you are severely ill (such as having trouble breathing).
Talk with your health care provider about whether you should be vaccinated for seasonal flu and H1N1.
